They offer service from New York JFK, Washington Dulles, and Montreal with Boeing 787 aircraft and they’re adding Miami service in April. Now comes word that they’ll launch Boston – Casablanca as well on June 22.

According to a statement from the Moroccan flag carrier, the flight will be offered three times a week on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The new air service will be available starting June 22.

The Dreamliners will fly between Casablanca and Boston Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays

While the only way to search award availability today is to sign up for the airline’s frequent flyer account and then search on their website, you can also just assume space is available. It usually is. We’ll see if that lasts the ability to redeem AAdvantage miles for travel on the airline — and not just Iberia and Etihad miles.

They’re actually a pretty good way to connect to Southern Europe, although AAdvantage would charge two awards for that. They get you to a good chunk of Africa via Casablanca of course.

Did you know that Casablanca was once an Air France hub and that when Humphrey Bogart puts Ingrid Bergman on a plane in the movie Casablanca, sending her away with her husband, it’s an Air France plane?
